Rainbow War is a dazzling 20 minute film in which three kingdoms, one Blue, one Red, and one Gold, fight a colorful battle for supremacy. Paint buckets, brushes, and rollers are the weapons in their splashy slapstick struggle. But in the end all are winners. The confrontation transforms into collaboration and colors blend into the first known rainbow.

Rainbow War was created by BRC Imagination Arts for Expo 86, the 1986 World's Fair in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In 1985, the film was nominated in the "Best Live Action Short" category for the 58th Academy Awards by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).

For it's 25th anniversary, the film was digitally restored and re-mastered in wide screen Blu-ray, and re-issued on both Blu-ray and DVD.
